Writing Task--Prompt:
You’ve read about racial profiling’s detrimental effects in New York, L.A., and the South. These stereotypes affect African Americans, Latinos, and other minority racial populations across the nation. Is the Central Valley of California any exception?

In a well-developed essay, present your opinion to the Lindsay City Council on whether racial profiling is an issue in the Central Valley (or in a social setting of your choice -- e.g., football, LHS, etc.). As you write your essay, be sure you support your claims with well-chosen evidence. Be sure to cite your sources within proper MLA parenthetical citations.
